Gabriola Island Chamber of Commerce

In order to promote participation in their Island Enterprise Zone Survey, the Gabriola Island Chamber of Commerce enlisted Jane AF to create an engaging animated explainer video, going over the proposed Island Enterprise zone plan, and inviting residents to have their voices heard. The survey was pushed out to social media with clever “inside joke” ads meant to hook the attention of residents and let them know that anyone living on Gabriola, Mudge and Decourcy Islands was invited to participate. We further took out ads in the local newspaper and posted QR code enabled posters around town.

The result: Through our online ads we were able to reach over 5000 Island residents and engage 10% of the total Gabriola, Mudge and Decourcy Islands’ population in the online survey.

“Jane was incredible to work with - effective, efficient and quality.

She delivered high quality content and video production to communicate a complex concept to 5000 people. The project surpassed community engagement goals/expectations, in large part to her strategic approach and ability to narrate for a wide audience. The imagery within the video sparked ideas and discussion.”
